Hello there! I'm IonMaybe, but Ion works just as well, as does Ian!^{For the past 4 years, I've been a professional writer and (professional-in-progress) artist. • The Silver Question

This is (the first half of) a short story I wrote back in 2020, about a couple of viking explorers sailing to a strangely quaint village. The whole Norse theme came later, but I mainly wanted to explore the idea of a whole community being affected by... well, living, alien quicksilver. I may adapt this story better at some point.

• Diseased Clarity

This is a script I wrote in 2022 for my scriptwriting class, about a doctor who has come to administer a cure for his afflicted, former partner, who has accepted the bliss of sickness. I always had an idea of someone going through some kind of plague, but somehow, that illness calms them, alleviates their stresses.The irrational meets the rational, and yet, there's still a humanity or common ground met.

• Mason's Paradox, Episode 4: Homecoming

This is one of the scripts I wrote for an in-progress series titled Mason's Paradox -- it follows Mason, Lilo, Tripp, and Choloa as they... make it back to Earth! Along with a stray extraterrestrial plus one. Although this project is on an indefinite hiatus, I'm quite proud of the scripts I wrote for it -- especially with the dialogue and staging of the locations.

• Hanako's Flower Shop, Story 6: Life Aquatic

This is one of a few scripts I wrote for a game titled Hanako's Flower Shop, where you sell flowers, cheer people up, and earn money for your little business. In this particular example, a socially extroverted fellow named Megumi visits the shop to purchase some flowers, not just for herself, but for the fishes!

• Tales of Annualia, Episode 1: Shuffling for Souls

This is one of the scripts I wrote for a series titled Tales of Annualia, a multimedia project starring a little ink blotch girl named Mimi. Here, her friends, Sorin and Duff, are lost in the spooky soul cornfield of Hektor, the soul-stealing scarecrow!We're currently adapting these stories for comics rather than animations, but there's still some strong imagery here to make them interesting enough to read, be it an animatic, comic, or even the script itself!
